Amazon UK recently revealed that Nintendo's 3DS has become the online giant's most pre-ordered gaming device. That may have something to do with the fact that Amazon has the device discounted nearly £43 ($70 USD) off the suggested price.

"It's unusual for a handheld console to attract this amount of excitement in the run up to launch," Amazon UK's director of video games, Chris Poad, told VG247. "Such high levels of interest are normally reserved for the play-at-home hardware like the ground-breaking Nintendo Wii and last year's Microsoft Kinect."

Once again, you'll get to vote on your favorite PSN games of the year by downloading a theme. Sony announced the 2012 version of its PSN Gamers' Choice Awards, along with nominations for standout PS3 and PSP games in ten different categories.

The biggest nominees include the "Best PSN Exclusive" group: inFamous Festival of Blood, PixelJunk Shooter 2, and ... Tetris; the "Best PSN Game" group: inFamous Festival of Blood, Plants vs. Zombies, and Resident Evil 4. The title of Best PSP game is between Tactics Ogre, Dissidia Final Fantasy, and, uh, the Dissidia Final Fantasy demo.
