We're still waiting for an official announcement from NVIDIA, but the NVIDIA Shield TV Pro is up for pre-order from Amazon for $200 with an estimated ship date of October 28th. Like previous versions, the new model supports 4K HDR video playback and it can run some Shield-exclusive video games. There's also support for streaming games over the internet using NVIDIA's GeForce Now service. What's new is a new Tegra X1+ processor that NVIDIA says brings 25-percent faster performance, a new remote control with a weird triangular-shaped design and far more buttons than its predecessor and support for Bluetooth 5.0.
Google is updating its Pixel Buds lineup with a new set of truly wireless earbuds that support Google Assistant voice interactions, feature adaptive sound to adjust the audio according to your environment, and a compact design that Google says allows the new Pixel Buds to sit nearly flush with your ear. That price includes a set of earbuds plus a charging case — the company says you should get up to 5 hours of battery life from the earbuds on their own or up to 24 hours when you carry the case with you.
Ubuntu 19.10 also ships with support for WPA3 Wi-Fi security, the Linux 5.3 kernel with support for more hardware, and updated versions of key apps including Firefox, LibreOffice, and Thunderbird, and the operating system also now has native support for the ZFS file system on the root partition. For the most part, these flavors have all the new features included in Ubuntu 19.10, but there are also a number of updates specific to each. For example, Ubuntu Studio includes OBS Studio by default for out-of-the-box support for live streaming, plus almost 100 new audio plugins. And Ubuntu MATE features a lot of bug fixes and patches, plus some changes to default apps.
The Honor V30 will be a flagship that can challenge even the Mate 30. Some promo photos of the device have surfaced on Weibo, showing a square camera on the back reminiscent of the Mate 20. The rear camera on the back is more interesting, the main sensor is said to be 60MP. Not 64MP, indicating that this is a sensor we haven't seen yet (it's similar to the Huawei flagships, which use 40MP instead of 48MP sensors like the rest of the industry). The Honor V30 Pro will have a bigger battery with faster charging to boot – 4,200mAh and 40W SuperCharge in addition to 15W wireless charging. The V30 will get 4,000mAh and 22.5W SuperCharge instead, no wireless charging.
